Big Cyrille says ‘Lets Knock Heads Together’
As the Sky Blues fixture list has just been published with fans still bemused as to where the Club’s home matches will be played, CCFC Legend (and CCFPA member) Cyrille Regis is only the latest of the club’s former players to go public about his concerns for Coventry City’s future.
In recent weeks many full (and associate) Association members including Dietmar Bruck, Claus Bech Jorgensen and Ian Wallace have voiced their concerns and supporting those who want to see the football team fulfil their League One fixtures in Coventry for next season (and beyond).
F.A.Cup final hero Cyrille Regis in an article today in the Coventry Telegraph (whose campaign to keep the Club in the City has attracted over 13000 signatures to date) reckons someone with the skills of Henry Kissinger is needed to knock sense into the collective heads of SISU/Otium Entertainments and ACL/Coventry City Council and bring them together at this late stage to secure a satisfactory and popular solution for CCFC’s current travails.
