Long serving defender Richard Shaw agreed to extend his contract for another season on this day in 2005. Manager Micky Adams secured his signature in what would be his testimonial season.

At the end of the 2005-06 season saw Richard leave for Millwall. More information on Shawsy’s later career can be found in the next post later today.
