The Association has been asked to assist organise a team of former players to represent Coventry City in the forthcoming annual national Masters Football event.  The regional qualifying rounds take place in July and will be televised by Sky Sports. CCFC have been drawn in the SERCO Midlands Masters which will take place at the Birmingham NIA Arena  on Saturday 2nd July k.o. 7pm.

So far we have signed up a number of Sky Blues stars of the past (all CCFPA members) to take part including Paul Williams, John Williams, Paul Hall, Noel Whelan, Marcus Hall and Steve Morgan.  However, we are looking for more of our stars of the past to join them in taking on veterans from five other Midlands clubs and rivals-  Aston Villa, Birmingham, Walsall, West Brom and Wolves.

If you are a CCFC former player, fit and up for the challenge, especially from the 35-40 age group, and are free to take part in representing the club and Association please contact Association committee member Bob Eales on 07538154239 or email at covbob@msn.com or contact Mike Young at m.young9@ntlworld.com.

More details about the Masters can be found on the official site http://www.mastersfootball.com/Events/SelcoMidlandMasters
