Sumo wrestles with Coventry Charity Cup Dinner

Association member and Sky Blue scoring sensation of the 1990s Mick Quinn was a special guest at the 21st Sporting Dinner arranged by the Coventry Charity Cup committee on April 5th last at the Royal Court Hotel, Coventry.  CCFPA has good links with CCC and Associate member Kev Monks is on their General committee.

By all accounts  ‘Sumo’ was good value at the four course dinner entertaining the guests with tales of his football career and life since hanging up his boots. He is pictured with one of the CCFPA’s committee members (former Major) Kevin Heffernan at the event. Though CCFPA is slightly disappointed neither Kevin or Mick are wearing the official Association tie to the occasion we do recognise that the Dinner was requested to be ‘black tie’ and sky blue stripes might have seemed out of place!  Kevin looks resplendent in his army dress uniform whilst Mick looks equally natty in his DJ!
