1986-87 F.A.Youth Cup Squad Ricoh Reunion next Saturday

The Association will be facilitating a reunion of the Club’s victorious F.A. Youth Cup squad of 1986-87 at the Sky Blues last Ricoh home fixture of the 2011-12 season at the must-win Doncaster Rovers game next Saturday April 21st. We are confident that nearly all of the squad will be able to attend the pre-match meal and be paraded before the crowd at half-time to receive the welcome of fans 25 years after they helped the Club to a fantastic Cup double.

Some of the victorious group of the then youthful Sky Blues are pictured above with ‘Mr Coventry City’ and CCFPA Patron and Honorary Life President Joe Elliott along with the teams coach at the time, former Sky Blue star and CCFPA member Mick Coop.

We also hope to have quite a number of members of the victorious F.A.Cup winning senior squad at the Ricoh as the Association’s guests for the day. Look out on this site for further news and confirmation of participants as next Saturday approaches.
